General Requirements

• Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
• A recent color photograph.
• Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent for the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
• Application from husband or wife (Indonesian citizen).

Visa Validity

• This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.

• E31A – Spouse of Indonesian Citizen
  • Proof of registration or recording to the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia/authorized agency in the field of civil registration and a marriage certificate that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator* if the wedding ceremony took place outside the Indonesian territory;
  • Marriage book or marriage certificate issued by the ministry or authorized institution if the wedding ceremony takes place in Indonesian territory

  • Marriage certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator.
  • Valid visa/Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)/Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP) of the legitimate husband or wife.
• E31C – Child of Indonesia Citizen
  • Birth certificate, either:
    • Birth certificate issued by the competent ministry or institution; or
    • Proof of birth registration at the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia or the competent agency in the field of civil registration (if the Foreign Nationals were born outside Indonesian territory).
  • Parents’ marriage certificate, either:
    • Proof of registration or recording at the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia or the competent agency in the field of civil registration and marriage certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator*; or
  • Marriage book or marriage certificate issued by the competent ministry or institution (if the wedding ceremony was held in Indonesian territory).
  • Family card (KK) of the Indonesian father/mother.
• E31D – Stepchild of Indonesian Citizen
  • Travel to and from Indonesia.
  • Conducting activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
  • Attending education, as long as it has been reported to Immigration (using the multiple activity reporting process).
• E31E – Child Visa
  • Birth certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator*
  • Marriage book or parents’ marriage certificate translated into Indonesian*
  • Valid Stay Permit (ITAS)/Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP) of the parents 
  • Proof of medical condition or proof of guardianship translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator* (specifically for individuals above 18 years old with humanitarian/health considerations).
• E31F – A lawfully adopted child of Indonesian Citizen
  • Court decision in Indonesia explaining the legal relationship status of the Foreign Nationals with the father and/or mother who is an Indonesian citizen;
  • Family card (KK) of the father/mother who is an Indonesian citizen.
• E31G – Parent of Indonesian Citizen
  • Proof of the legal relationship between parents and children, such as the Family card (KK) of the Indonesian citizen child;
  • Birth certificate issued by the competent ministry or institution, or a birth certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator* if born outside Indonesian territory;
  • Determination of child status (not a biological or legally adopted child).
• E31H – Parent Visa
  • The child’s birth certificate has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator*;
  • Child’s valid Visa/Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)/Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP).
